Retail openings are a unique challenge for 3D: the content has to feel premium, dynamic and technically clean — especially when it plays on large LED installations. For the Ochsner Shoes opening at Shoppi Tivoli, relit produced the launch visuals for exactly that context.
The studio modelled and textured five shoe models and handled the animation, simulation, lighting, rendering and final LED display execution.
The notable part was the simulation setup: rigid body, collision and soft body simulations built entirely in Blender — a workflow more often handled in Houdini. Concept and project lead by DD COM – Communication Arts.
